Subterraneus Inc is a people-focused underground construction company founded in 2017 in Southwest Wisconsin. From a small owner-operated team, we’ve grown to over 50 employees and service partners across the Midwest. We specialize in telecommunications construction and infrastructure support for ISPs of all sizes — from local providers to major industry leaders.

Horizontal Directional Drilling
Trenchless excavation is the cleaneast and most effective method for low impact underground product placement. We utilize the newest and most sophisticated equipment available to safely and efficiently install our customers products.
Service Installation
We got our start with underground drop buries and they are still our main focus. From communications lines (fiber, coax or even copper) to dog fences or electrical, our seasoned drop crews are clean, efficient and most importantly, extremely customer service oriented!
OSP (Outside Plant Construction)
With a fleet of equipment including tracked plows, directional drills, excavators and more. We can build our customers outside infrastructure from the ground up. Small projects or hundreds of miles. We are equipped and experienced and ready to get the job done.
Hydro-Excavation
The safest way to day light existing utilities, place new products in high traffic areas or just clean out hard to get placed. Hydro-excavation is something we utilize as often as possible to keep things clean and more importantly, SAFE.
